About Us

The business opened on August 7th 1999. After a great deal of preparatory work and a rather late night on 6th, we opened for business the next morning. Our first customers, who happened to collect Kosta Boda, appeared very soon. " Hallo" they said, " We didn't know you were here. How long have you been open?" "Oh, about twenty minutes", we said happily.

We started with a collection of Baccarat crystal from France , Orrefors and Kosta Boda from Sweden, and Murano makers, Seguso and Venini. The collection soon expanded to include glass from English studios, principally Adam Aaronson, Chris Comins, and Firefly. More recently, we have been extending our jewellery collection and now have work by Juli Miller, Louise Block, Hot Glass Jewels, Bath Aqua and Chaotic Rainbow.

On 12 July 2008, with the expiry of our shop lease, we closed our shop at 16 Northumberland Place, and are now selling solely online. In the website, there is the option for you to arrange to collect your purchase from us in Bath (parking available), if that is more convenient than having it shipped.
